1st Open Beach Tennis Tournament
For those who like to practice sports feeling a pleasant breeze of the beach climate, now they have the right place, in Sorriso. Opened in December 2021, the Porto Seguro Arena, created especially for lovers of outdoor sports, especially for those who are addicted to Beach Tennis.
The arena is strategically located at Rua Porto Seguro nº 5069, in the Recanto dos Pássaros neighborhood. The place is very wide, ideal for disputes, tournaments or just for those who want to improve their physical conditioning through sport.
Conceived by Beach players Leidiane Andrade and Volmir Bedin, married for 13 years, duo in sport, in life, and now in business, they did not imagine that an idea taken on the court would turn into something pleasant and profitable.
Leidiane, says that the couple were already avid paddlers and always wanted to have a place of their own, when their daughters Isadora and Valentina Bedin were born, they wanted to include them in the sport, that's when they kicked off the project.
“The initial idea was to build a farm with a block for us and our friends on weekends. We didn’t imagine it would be this big.” She says with a laugh.
Unpretentious, they say that they realized that the arena was really a success, when they posted photos of the progress of the works, and people asked about the opening on social networks, that was when the idea finally matured, and they combined the useful with the pleasant._cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_
Soon, people started getting in touch booking to know the place, book tournaments and matches.
At the opening, the 1st open Beach Tennis tournament was held, with the male and female categories with cash prizes.
One of the new features of the Porto Seguro arena is for those who do not know or want to learn the sport, you can take an experimental class with specialized teachers.
In addition to the Beach Tennis courts, the structure has a snack bar with a covered area, sales of snacks, snacks and drinks, as well as restrooms and ample parking.
For the future, the couple intends to expand the business and build three more covered courts, for the insertion of paddle tennis, as another sport option.

available for athlete training, professional championships and sporting events, open to the public.
Opening hours are from 4pm to 10pm daily. The use can be made by monthly fees or Day Use (daily use), free on weekends.
