Since the foundation, our purpose has always been to improve people's lives. Therefore, on January 31, 2022, we decided to take a big step in our journey and, unanimously, the cooperative members chose to migrate the Cooperative to the Sicoob System (Central Sicoob Uni). Thus, from May 2, 2022, we will be part of the largest cooperative system in Brazil, Sicoob!
And this is a historic moment in our cooperative. A landmark of innovation, growth and progress. In a few months, we will be able to expand our product range, increase our revenue, decrease our costs and bring much more benefit to everyone. The best thing is that our essence will be maintained, because like Uniprime, Sicoob is a credit cooperative and, therefore, the benefits of being a more sustainable business model, which promotes financial education, community development and the sharing of surpluses at the end of the year, since everyone who owns the business will still be kept.
Why Sicoob?
Sicoob is the largest Credit Cooperative in Brazil, and the sixth largest Financial Institution in the country. In this way, it is present in a much larger number of municipalities (2,000 to be more exact), making it easier for cooperative members through more than 3,000 physical service points, several digital channels and thousands of ATMs, which provide access to a complete portfolio of financial services.
