Discover the trajectory of the lawyer Tatiane de Barros Ramalho

This is the case of lawyer Tatiane de Barros Ramalho, graduated in Law from the University of Cuiabá (UNIC), class of 2002, who captivatingly expresses her passion for the profession she has been practicing for 20 years. The lawyer received the World magazine team and talked to us about her professional trajectory and her work in the legal field. 

Tatiane began her professional career still in her family environment. “I started working at my family's law firm and later started my own law firm. With some friends by profession, we founded the law firm Barros, Ramalho & Zanardo associate lawyers, based in Cuiabá-MT, Sorriso-MT and Brasília-DF. The firm works in the most important areas of civil, agrarian, criminal, tax and military law, in order to offer quick, efficient, creative and cost-effective solutions for its clients, providing legal services throughout the national territory, guided by the principles of ethics, professionalism, seriousness, loyalty, commitment, respect and responsibility in the results”, he detailed. 

Tatiane is married to the Lieutenant Colonel of the Military Police of the State of Mato Grosso and Commander of the air base of the Integrated Center of Air Operations Coronel Flávio Ramalho. Living in Sorriso, she points out the challenges of practicing law in the agribusiness capital. “Our office has focused on defending and protecting the rights of rural producers. Sorriso is a different city, not only because its economy is based on agribusiness, but because it is prosperous and has welcomed us in such a special way. Here several opportunities presented themselves and we adopted this place as our family home”, he added. 

The lawyer evaluates the practice of law in such a specific area.

In addition to her dedication to law, lawyer Tatiane Barros Ramalho also serves as State Counselor of the Brazilian Bar Association Mato Grosso Section (OAB-MT), President of the Childhood and Youth Commission of OAB MT, President of the Childhood and Youth Commission of Brazilian Association of Lawyers (ABA), Titular Counselor of the State Council for the Defense of the Rights of Children and Adolescents of CEDCA-MT, Member of the National Commission and Childhood of the Federal Council of the OAB and President of the Adoption Commission of the Brazilian Institute of Family Law (IBDFAM), highlighting the great role of advocacy in defending social interests and guaranteeing the Democratic State of Law, always seeking to promote social justice. 

In his extensive curriculum, there are several social works that have already earned him commendations to merit, certificates of recognition, titles and several honors, including receiving three times motions of applause from the Municipality of Cuiabá for the work provided in the area of childhood and youth. , as well as four congratulatory motions from the MT Legislative Assembly and the Brazilian Bar Association for the struggle in defense of women.

When asked about the main qualities of her work in law, Tatiane highlights: “love for the profession, dedication and solidarity are the main differentials of good lawyers. You have to love and be proud of what you do. It is knowing that the fruits will not be harvested immediately, so perseverance is necessary, because advocating is a long journey, in which there are no shortcuts, but the art of knowing how to advocate. Providing quality and efficient legal services is the mission of every lawyer who seeks to achieve a solid career, as stories of struggles, challenges and achievements are constant among the law, and to achieve success, in addition to technical knowledge, specific and constant skills are needed. dedication, because law is a priesthood”, concluded the lawyer Tatiane de Barros Ramalho.
