Official opening reinforces commitment
with sustainability and respect for the environment
ECO ERJJA was born with its eyes on tomorrow, aware that future results depend on the actions of the present. Entered in 2019 by businessman Edmar Correa, who has lived in Sorriso since 1995 and has always been concerned about environmental issues. He is supported by his son, the occupational physician Dr. Jhonathan Correa.
On the 16th of February, ECO ERJJA began another stage of its journey, with the official inauguration of the company, in an event accompanied by politicians, businessmen and local and regional authorities, marking a new moment for the disposal of waste in Sorriso, since which has the capacity to process all waste material generated by civil construction.
ECO ERJJA has all the environmental licenses to operate, in addition to equipment and trained professionals. It has a physical structure of approximately 500 m2 and a total area of 50 thousand m2. It is affiliated to Abrecon – Brazilian Association for Recycling of Civil Construction and Demolition Waste. It also has all the legalization documentation approved by SEMA and IBAMA.
TRAJECTORY
Edmar followed the accelerated development of Sorriso, with mills, industries, shops, neighborhoods and countless homes. In this process, his attention was drawn to civil construction, which produced excess waste, which was sent to a dump without any recycling process or proper destination. ECO ERJJA came to remedy this deficiency, with a professional and efficient service of recycling and use of waste.
Disposal in dumps is irregular and can result in fines and other sanctions, in accordance with Law No. can be from R$5,000.00 to R$50 million.
