Acco Laboratory:
30 years of good service and commitment to health and well-being

The pharmacist Dr. Jane Marisa Acco moved to Sorriso in 1992 for the purpose of implanting in the municipality or its clinical facilities laboratory. On August 21 of the same year, the dream came true, with the beginning of the activities of the Clinical Analysis Laboratory Acco. The mission was and remains to help health professionals to restore people's health. He was the first laboratory in Sorriso to serve the SUS, absorbing a small demand that other laboratories did not meet.
It was also the first laboratory to issue test reports through computers, a novelty at the time. Due to the excellence of its public services, in a few years, of excellence, of public opinion services, it favored them to establish partnerships. It currently has agreements with Unimed, Cassi, Amil, SulAmérica, Pax Vida, Marombi, Bioseg, Plena, VidaClin, SESI, Mix da Saúde, in addition to services for companies and farms.
Dr. Jane highlighted that the objective of Acco remains the same when started as activities: to provide quality service. For this to be trained, possible instructions on the clarification of standards, routines and techniques of the sector. “We make everyone aware of the importance of complying with the rules for the smooth running of services and the functioning of the laboratory, as well as the relationship of trust between employees and patients”, highlights Jane Acco.
Ethical values, knowledge, responsibility and science are parameters of the service provided, consisting of blood, urine, feces, toxicological, DNA, foot test and preventive. In cases of exams that cannot be performed in the city, partner laboratories provide the service with agility and readiness.
JOURNEY
When it started its activities in 1992, the Acco Laboratory works in a rented room, located on Rua das Videiras. In 2, the structure was adapted for a space, fully adapted for the production located on Avenida Luiz Amadeu.
Dr. Marisa Accobá has a degree in pharmacy from the State University of Ponta Grossa/PR with a specialization in clinic management and another specialization in microbiology, both from UNIC - Cuia. From the Blauro Cardoso de Mattos Higher Education Institute, he holds a postgraduate degree in clinic and office management. She has been technically responsible for the Laboratory since the provision of the service and is expected to have 30 years of needs, having worked with many professionals, graduated in chemistry and biomedicine, which will help to consolidate the enterprise with respect and reliability.
