Chiropractic is a science in the health area specializing in the care of the Spine. Having as the main objective to seek the balance of the nervous system, and of the entire physiology of the organism.
Often the origin of all dysfunctions or pain in the spine, are caused by subluxations (misalignment of the vertebrae ICD 10 M99.1), which triggers restriction of movement and especially compression of nerve roots.
The main causes of subluxations are: physical stress (from difficulties at birth (childbirth), falls, accidents, sports injuries, bad posture, overweight, migraines, herniated discs, pain in general in the spine, among others. ), emotional stress (anxiety, depression, insecurity, tension, insomnia, tiredness, etc.) and chemical stress (drugs, cigarettes, poor diet, free radicals, etc.)
The Chiropractic Center uses an individualized and comprehensive treatment for each patient, respecting the physical and emotional characteristics of each one. The diagnosis is defined after anamnesis, physical evaluation and imaging tests. Therefore, the chiropractor will offer the safest, most specific and effective method to the patient.
Chiropractic uses several methods, there are more than 100 different techniques, the use of hands is the main one, where the subluxated (unbalanced) vertebra is adjusted, with the help of a specific stretcher, as well as the indication of the traction table, tapes , instrument called “Activator”, among others.
The Chiropractic Center aims at the structural reestablishment of the functioning of the spine, thus dividing the treatment into a phase of correction, stabilization, maintenance and well-being.
To learn a little more about the project that became a successful reality and has been in Sorriso for six years, Doctor Roger Vargas and his wife Carla Becker, founders of the Chiropractic Center, welcomed our team and told us how this dream began.
Doctor Roger was born in São Sepé/RS, graduated from Feevale University, in Rio Grande do Sul and Palmer College of Chiropratic/USA in 2010. Member of the Brazilian Association of Chiropractic, postgraduate in Neuroscience. He has participated in national and international seminars, congresses and symposia. In addition, he acquired experiences and improvement abroad for 4 years.
Today, the Center also has a unit in Lucas do Rio Verde in partnership with Chiropractor Doctor Marilaine Barili. “We have a history similar to so many who live here, I think that everything that is done with belief and dedication prospers, and that's what happened”, concluded Doctor Roger.
