Real Auto Center promotes social responsibility actions in Sorriso
Real supports projects that collect products to be donated to people in need. This is another one of the many novelties that the workshop presents to its customers, friends and partners. And the concern to help others drives the workshop to promote events and actions that can raise awareness of Sorrisenses and contribute to a more dignified life for those who most need support.
We spoke with Marisa Rosso, partner-owner of Real, who told us where the proposal came from.
“The idea came from our own daily lives. As we look around, we realize that there are many people in need of help, many possibilities and ways to contribute to them. So we started without any pretensions.”
The initiative was so successful that the auto repair shop is now creating structured projects to help others. “On March 28 we will offer the free certification course in basic mechanics for women, with Bárbara Brier. She is considered an icon that moves the segment of mechanical workshops across the country run by women. Today we already have more than 70 workshops with the seal of social responsibility, Oficina Amiga da Mulher. Course registration is free. To participate, just donate a package or more of geriatric diapers”, pointed out Marisa
Real Auto Center has stood out for its care with the safety of its customers, investing in qualification and diversification of service. It even offers services aimed at women and the LGBTQIA+ public. “About 35% of driver's licenses issued in recent years are for women. And thinking about offering a more humanized service to them and the LGBT public, we set up a female team and tried to provide the maximum reception”, he added.
In 2021 the workshop held a mechanics workshop for women. The initiative marked the celebration of Pink October and provided a meeting of more than 40 women, who were able to learn a little more about their vehicles and paid attention to preventive care for their health and well-being. For 2022, Real presents a proposal to diversify events and social projects.
“Our idea is to hold a Business Workshop bringing together women who work with the creative economy here in Sorriso. We also want to expand our actions and carry out initiatives that lead to the collection of sanitary pads, soaps, deodorants and personal and intimate hygiene items, so that we can contribute to the well-being of needy young people and women in Sorriso. There are several ways to help, with little we can unite and do more. The donation goes far beyond a basic basket, helping others is a real concern”, concluded Marisa.
