The strong development of Sorriso is highlighted in the Special Edition of Sorriso 36 Years, Gente Que Produz, in which we give notoriety to the business society of the National Capital of Agribusiness and region.

In a modern, bold concept, added to strategy, quality and punctuality, our values provide a fruitful harvest. We describe the current publication as a vehicle that is attentive to changes and that at the same time values the roots, as proposed since the beginning of our journey. We present a diversified content, as the subjects in vogue in the country and in the world in the format of materials and informative articles, in which we propagate the information in a hybrid form, being it in the printed and digital model.

We illustrate in this edition several services and information. We highlight some achievements in the health area in the municipality of Sorriso that will transform it into a great regional center and reference in the sector: as the private hospital center specialized in treatments, exams, procedures and eye surgeries, the Hospital de Olhos de Sorriso, is in front of the same Dr. Savio Milbratz and Dr. Bernardo Martins, the Cicatrioxi Clinic of hyperbaric medicine for the treatment of wound healing, in front of Dr. Lauro Maiolino Ribeiro, innovations of Hospital 13 de Maio that inaugurates its Neonatal ICU, CDI 13 de Maio celebrates its four years and plans to expand its structure and services offered, and self-employed professionals, pioneering entrepreneurs who make up history with determination and determination of this “People Who Produce”.

Mato Grosso is the state that generated the most jobs in Brazil in the year, according to the latest survey by the Register of Employed and Unemployed (CAGED), released by the Ministry of Economy. In all, 231,212 new admissions were registered, which represents an increase of 6.73%.

We closely follow this last decade of Sorriso, in its continued expansion. The municipality of Sorriso is highlighted as one of the biggest job generators in Mato Grosso, it has several companies of national and international expression installed in the wholesaler, department stores, bioenergy (ethanol), multinationals, grain crusher, swine slaughterhouses, poultry, and fish, among other important sectors. According to data from the City Hall Taxation Department, it has 11,820 active permits, of which 10,614 are CNPJ's. (2020).

The aspects are numerous, among them the area of education, with bilingual schools of world reference, however others with national education systems adopted by local entrepreneurs in their teaching entities. Faculties with different areas, as well as medicine, Sorriso is privileged with one of the most modern and developed teaching entities in the country, the Athens Faculty, which is already a reference in the segment in other states, with 25 years of tradition.

According to data from the General Register of Employed and Unemployed (CAGED), from the Ministry of Labor and Employment, the municipality had a growth of more than 18% in job creation, in the period from 2017 to 2020. The number increased from 23,521 (2017) to 27,948 (2020). With the results presented by (CAGED), Sorriso leads the ranking of job creation among the municipalities in the interior of Mato Grosso, behind only the capital, Cuiabá.

According to IBGE data, in 2018, Sorriso was among the main cities in the state with the best Gross Domestic Product (GDP), equivalent to R$ 6.050 million. These numbers prove the economic development of Sorriso and attract investors from all sectors.
