H13 expands the offer of services and consolidates itself as a reference in health in the region
With only five years of activity, Hospital 13 de Maio has become a reference in quality healthcare in the region with the expansion of its services and state-of-the-art technology.
The hospital unit is one of the few in the mid-north region to have a neonatal ICU.
NEONATAL ICU
In this service, which was recently inaugurated, around R$ 2 million were invested. With eight beds, the environment has state-of-the-art equipment to care for premature babies who have an adverse situation at birth.
With a modern structure combined with a highly trained clinical staff, the ICU comes to meet a great demand for Sorriso and the region.
ADULT ICU
With ten beds and one isolation unit, the difference in the Adult ICU is natural lighting, which increases the chances of patient recovery by up to 22%.
The sector also has an air conditioning system with laminar flow, triple filtration, with constant exchange of air, which reduces the risk of infection and reduces hospitalization time. It is in the ICU that multidisciplinary care for critically ill patients is concentrated, where diagnostic tests, therapeutic procedures and other procedures are performed.
EMERGENCY SERVICE
The sector concentrates seven beds in Adult Observation and three more beds in Pediatric Observation. The Emergency Room also has a medication and inhalation sector with eight comfortable armchairs for patient accommodation.
The sector also has medical offices, an emergency room with two beds, a risk classification room, dressing room and small procedures, plaster, prescription and nursing station. One of the differentials of the Emergency Department is an exclusive X-ray for the sector, which speeds up the emerging service. With this structure, the service in this sector also includes several services such as collection of material for clinical exams and imaging exams, when necessary.
At the reception there is accommodation for 24 people. A team of specialist doctors, nurses, nursing technicians, x-ray technicians, receptionists and other professionals take turns maintaining the standard of care 24 hours a day.
SURGICAL AND OBSTETRIC CENTER
In this sector, medical teams have state-of-the-art equipment such as a video tower composed of a set of equipment used in videolaparoscopy surgery, the Bispectral Index (BIS), which is an equipment used to objectively measure the level of consciousness. of a patient undergoing sedation or general anesthesia and a bronchoscope to aid in chest examinations and surgery. It also has modern equipment for urological procedures such as cystoscopy and urethroscopy.
The Surgical Center also includes five beds for anesthetic induction and recovery, a differential with regard to pre- and post-operative care. The sector offers well-being and medical comfort, in addition to logistics for the entry and exit of sterilized materials that are used in surgical procedures.
